Boutis Home
In 1999 Tessitura Pertile studied and created an innovative type of Jacquard fabric in natural fibers inspired by Boutis de Provence, a cotton padded hand-sewn fabric. The result is our line of Pertile Boutis, made of natural fibers such as egyptian cotton, silk, linen and cashmere.

The traditional craftsmanship of this product goes back to the Middle Ages: the Boutis, handmade in South Italy, were exported by ship to Marseilles, where they were used as clothing in the courts of Provence. These fabrics were later used in the creation of beautiful and prestigious bedspreads.

Our company, employing the Italian craftsmanship's tradition to realize these precious items, has interpreted them in a Jacquard fabric version, suitable for bedlinen and home decoration.

Our Pertile Boutis, appreciated for their warm softness and for the fibers' naturalness, are enhanced by the originality of their design.

This product testifies our company's passion for linens and fabrics as a creative and artistic form of expression, and confirms our role in the luxury market, preserving at the same time the traditional heritage and the high quality value of the Italian craftsmanship.
